Alfred P. Sloan Awards for Excellence in Workplace Flexibility

The NAMC is proud be serving as the host organization for the Long Island region’s participation in the Alfred P. Sloan Awards for Excellence in Workplace Flexibility for 2009. As host, the NAMC has committed to spreading the word about the award, encouraging Long Island employers to apply and consulting with a broad range of business and community leaders to help promote this award for the benefit of the Long Island business community and this region.

The Alfred P. Sloan Awards for Business Excellence in Workplace Flexibility are part of When Work Works, a national project on workplace effectiveness and workplace flexibility from Families and Work Institute. Sloan Award APPLICANTS are self-nominated employers that complete the employer survey. The employer questionnaire is available on-line. Employer application deadline is May 1, 2009.  Long Island Winners will be presented with their award at the 14th Annual NAMC Work/Life Conference on Friday, November 6th, 2009.  Click here for more information.
